Powell River Gymnastics 2021 Summer Camps 

 

Half Day & Full Day GYMNASTICS Camps: 

3 hours/day (1pm-4pm)   

OR   

7 hours/day (9:15pm-4:15pm)

 

Half day camps offer a compliment of games & gymnastics skills with a short snack break, potentially some arts & crafts time.  Bring 1 nut-free snack plus a water bottle.

Full day camps have even more gymnastics skills, two short snack breaks, a lunch break, potentilly some arts & crafts time.  Bring 2 nut-free snacks, 1 nut-free lunch and at least 2-3 water bottles.

CAMP FEES:

                  5 day Half Day Camp: $120/week               

      *4 day Half Day Camp: $96/week   

  5 day Full Day Camp: $280/week

  *4 day Full Day Camp: $224/week

DROPPING YOUR CHILD FOR CAMP

 

Day One you will need to bring these two forms completed to the gym:

FORM ONE: Gymnastics BC Release Form

FORM TWO: Participant Compliance Form

Or you can do paper versions at the door on Day One.

 

Every day your child attends camp, you must fill out the Screening Form:

Or you can do a paper one at the door each day.

 

Note:  Drop off and pick up will occur OUTSIDE the club.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of camp.
Please line up along the walkway outside of the building at the spaced markings.
Your coach will greet you and take your child’s temperature.
 

Pick-Up Punctuality (10 minute grace period)

Please arrive 5 minutes early to pick up your child.

Please stand near the front of your car.
The camp children will be escorted to the front door by their coach and then sent out to you at your vehicle.
Please call us if you know you will be late.
Late pick-up beyond 10 minutes will incur a $25 charge.
Repeated tardy pick-ups will result in cancellation of child’s participation.

SICKNESS:  

If your child is ill, DO NOT bring them to camp. They will NOT be allowed to stay.

This includes runny noses, coughing, sneezing, etc.
 

 

Medications

Medication must be stored in its original container with directions for administration on the label.
Staff do not actually administer medications but will supervise the child during administration.
In case of a life-threatening situation where the child carries medication, such as an EpiPen or asthma inhaler,
should the child be unable to administer the dosage, staff will assist in administering the medication.

CAMP POLICIES

Powell River Gymnastics reserves the right to cancel camps or request members to change their selection if there is insufficient enrollment in a camp.
Minimum number of children per camp day is required.
Camps may be cancelled or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.
Prices and schedules are subject to change/update without notice. Please check in with the office prior to registration.
Week rate is defined as Same Time Slot, Full week Monday-Friday.
Refunds will not be given for missed camps.
PRGS reserves the right to refuse admission or dismiss any camp participant from the program to ensure the safety and enjoyment of fellow participants.
