2019 Powell River Gymnastics & Cheer Summer Camps

Ages 3-15 years old

Half and Full day camps available.


Half Day GYMNASTICS Camps: 3 hours / day

9am – 12pm    OR    1pm – 4pm 

Half day camps are jam packed full of gymnastics skills with a short snack break.

Bring 1 nut-free snack plus a water bottle.


Full Day GYMNASTICS Camp: 7 hours / day

9am to 4pm

Full day camps are chalk full of gymnastics (no pun intended!).

May include other sports and activities as well.

Each week also features arts & crafts, outdoor time (weather permitting) and so much more!!

Get out of the hot sun and into the cool fun!!

Bring 2 nut-free snacks, 1 nut-free lunch, refillable water bottle, weather appropriate clothing and please wear runners!!

5 day Half Day Camp:             $120/week                       5 day Full Day Camp:             $240/week

Not a current member?     You’ll need insurance.

  • 1-5 days camp – add $15 for insurance.
  • 5+ days camp – add $25 for insurance.




Registration is on a first come, first served basis with full payment of fees.

Registrations with payment can be made in person at the gym office when open, slipped through the mail slot, or mailed in.

Payment methods: cash, debit, Visa, Mastercard, etransfer

Registration can be completed over the phone if a current member and paid via credit card.

You do not need to be a member to attend camps. Non-members must acquire mandatory Gymnastics BC insurance.



Drop off and pick up occurs inside the club.

Sign in your child upon arrival each day.

Sign out your child at the end of each day.

You are welcome to pick your child up early if you so wish. Please call out to the coach.

Pick-Up Punctuality (10 minute grace period)
Please arrive 5 minutes early to pick up your student on time.

Please call us if you know you will be late so we can inform the coaching staff.

                             Late pick-up beyond 10 minutes will incur a $25 charge.

Repeated tardy pick-ups will result in cancellation of child’s participation.


SICKNESS:   If your child is ill, please DO NOT bring them to camp.

This includes runny noses, coughing, etc.

 Sorry but they just do NOT have fun when they aren’t feeling well.  Germs travel fast!!

If your child is ill, call us to let us know.

Medication must be stored in its original container with directions for administration on the label.

Staff do not actually administer medications but will supervise the child during administration.

In case of a life-threatening situation where the child carries medication, such as an EpiPen or asthma inhaler,

should the child be unable to administer the dosage, staff will assist in administering the medication.



Powell River Gymnastics & Cheer reserves the right to cancel camps or request members to change their selection if there is insufficient enrollment in a camp.

Minimum number of children per camp day is required.

Camps may be cancelled or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Prices and schedules are subject to change/update without notice. Please check in with the office prior to registration.

Week rate is defined as Same Time Slot, Full week Monday-Friday.

Refunds will not be given for missed camps.

PRGC reserves the right to refuse admission or dismiss any camp participant from the program to ensure the safety and enjoyment of fellow participants.
